Brief: Creating Panoramas for QTVR Movies

We were set a brief to take 360 degree panoramic images, then edit them together using Photoshop to make them appear a single seamless photo. These are then transformed into QuickTime so users are enabled to scroll through them as if they were present in the action.


The photos we took had to have a linking theme, such as:

1. Chase or follow
2. Scene of a crime
3. Tourist guide
4. Day in a life
5. Sense of location

From these themes i was intrigued by 'Tourist guide', 'Day in a life' and 'Sense of location'

All of our work was backed up by research into Panoramic photography, QTVR uses and applications, and learning techniques in PhotoShop.
